As if waken up from a dream, I came back to the U.S. last night. It
was Friday afternoon. The roads were wet and badly congested. It
took the Filipino driver nearly five hours to get home from the JFK airport—a ride
that normally only takes at most two hours.
Although I brought my D3S and Nex5N on this trip and my favorite ones
may still come from those cameras, nothing beats the convenience, the non-intimidating
nature, and even the intimacy of the camera from an iPhone. All
photos in the collage above were taken from my iPhone 5*, processed using
various apps, and even uploaded through an app.
